A Good Snack

We love Harmons grocery store because they have great service. I could really care less where we do our small amount of grocery shopping, but Tom is a "Grocery Snob" since he used to work at one when he lived in Washington. We drive out of the way to go to the Harmons. I can't give him too much guff because Harmons does really have the best service and really good product. They have an amazing cheese department, and I LOVE cheese. Their meat department is huge and even though I think meat is disgusting, they present it all to look delicious.

Now you know our grocery background...

We were at Harmons the other day and this guy convinced us to try a sample of brie wrapped in a croissant with a pear jam in the center. It was so good we decided to try making it at home. The recipe was so easy that I could remember it off the top of my head (which means that it really didn't take much to make because lets face it, my memory is not so good and neither are my cooking skills).

All you need is:
Croissant Rolls
Brie (you could actually use any type of cheese and it would still taste good)
Flavored Fruit Paste (we used pear, but apricot would be good too)

What to do:
Cut a strip of brie and top it with the fruit paste, then roll it up in the center of the croissant. Bake the croissant following the directions on the label, I think it was like 16 minutes.

Then you let it cool down for a minute and enjoy!
