Forks, WA

Tom and I spent a few days driving around Washington and one of the stops was Forks. We thought it would be fun to take the little detour to the small town and see if it was anything like the book. At the visitor center they had Bella's truck outside with a personalized license plate which you can see below. They have a Twilight Tour where you take a map and drive around the town. It took only about 20 minutes, but it was fun. Every store has Twilight souveneirs all over the place. There is a Bella Burger at Sullys and a Twilight Sandwich at Subway. I was embarrassed most of the time mainly because it's a fictional story and we were spending real life time living it out. It was fun though and Tom was totally into it even if he doesn't admit that out loud. (ba ha)

Welcome To Forks:

Bella & Charlies House:

Bellas Truck:
The Cullen House:
(It was actually a bed and breakfast, we figured it was the nicest home in Forks that was a little more secluded which is why they chose this house. I was a little disappointed because it is more grand in my lovely little imagination.)

The sign on the Cullen's front door:

Dr Cullen's Parking Spot:

By the way, the hospital looked like a small warehouse. I'm hoping they don't perform any sort of medical procedures in that building!

So yeah, the Cullen's house was a bit disappointing BUT the Swans house was EXACTLY how I envisioned it.. how funny and fun... your pups are so cute, by the way... if only I was a dog person... meaning, if only I had a shred of an idea of how to properly care for them...and I had a yard.
