LSU in the fall!

It's always fun to visit states you've never been to before.  Early in September we got a chance to go to Louisiana.  Tom's been a few times before, he's definitely more traveled than I.  His group of friends have gone to away football games each year, and I've gotten the chance to go the last two years.  UW played LSU, and even though we got our butts handed to us, the trip itself was a lot of fun.

The first full day we were there, we went on a swamp tour.  It was pretty fun to ride around in a sketchy boat watching the redneck-tour-guide stick his hand in the water to get the alligators to bite!  Pure entertainment.

(Redneck tour guide in the back right, amazingly enough, he still has all his limbs!)

We got a kick out of this.  Best friends...across the united states together on vacation...both messing with their phones.

Most of the boys....(missing 4)

Group shot...still missing four from our group.  This was our "tourist day".  We wandered around the french quarter and lived it up New Orleans style!

Out of all the travelers, we were the only women!  (We're also the only ones sans kiddos...hence more travel freedom, for the time being!)

Here's a shot with our whole group @ LSU.  We had 14 people who traveled from Seattle, Vegas, & Boise to see the game.  Those LSU fans definitely know how to tailgate!
