Hunger Games {possible spoilers}

It's like Twilight all over again...

My mom gave me the Hunger Games series for Christmas.  I picked up the first book 2-3 times attempting to get past the first chapter, but it just wasn't holding my interest.  After talking to a few people about the books, I decided to give it one more shot.  I took it with me to Hawaii, and forced myself past the boring first few pages that didn't make any sense....and in a matter of minutes, I was hooked.  To be honest, there were tears shed, on the plane, when Katniss volunteered for Prim.  And more when she had to say goodbye to Gale.  I was more than 1/2 way through by the time we landed, and I spent the next couple days reading it while soaking in sun on the beach.  On the first day at the beach Tom sat next to me and started reading a few pages, then he started stealing it from me so he could continue.  

(It's much more exciting than those business books he's always reading.)

It took me awhile to get into the second book, but I stayed up well into the wee hours of the morning finishing the book.  Around 2:30 a.m. I had finished book 2 and was so curious about what was going to happen next, I had to open book 3, but I only made it to the first page and fell asleep.

I told Tom I was 'Team Gale', and his response was, "You would..."
