We had a lot of helping hands as the neighborhood kids were on their hands and knees pulling weeds to impress Tom. Unfortunately, kids aren't the best weed pullers, but they were great at getting all the tops of the weeds out of the dirt! Ha, so helpful. They did clear out every single bug and played with them like they were pets. That was pretty cute. At one point I came walking around the corner to all the kids following Tom around the yard in a single-file line. He's so patient, especially with the little ones, I love it!

Home Improvements
We are notorious for starting projects around the house & never finishing. Our yard has been a victim since we bought the house in 2010. The biggest project was our fence, which we completed last fall, even though we were over it before the project had begun. Since then, the side of the fence has been a dirt/weed/rock mess. Last weekend we were wandering through Costco and found a great deal on Azaleas, so we decided to take care of the weed infested dirt for good. For the first time in the history of owning our home, we finished a project in a timely manner! I should have taken before pics, but you're just getting the after shots.
