Congrats!
I have to give a little shout out to my extraordinary husband and his exciting new adventure with the company he works for. {Purposely leaving names out so we don't come up during searches...has anyone noticed my new paranoia about internet stalkers?} A few years ago he got the job as Sales Manager in Ferndale, so he's been working hard at that since November 2008. It was a great promotion at the time as he was moving from the distribution side of the company to the manufacturing side. He also took on a very large territory; US, Canada, England, & Japan....not bad for a guy under 30 (at the time), right? He's done a lot of traveling in the last couple years and has met a ton of fun new people. A couple weeks ago his boss told him another manufacturing mill within their organization was interested in interviewing him for a Branch Manager position. He called me to find out my opinion, and I told him to go for it. With less than 24 hours of prep time he went over interview questions & prepared for his big day.
The interview was great, and he had to wait a couple days before finding out the answer, but they offered him a job not even 48 hours later! He truly works for a great company, and we're so excited for this next step. Did I mention the new position is in Canada? Luckily we're very close to the Canadian border, so he's only driving about 25 miles each way. For most people, that's not bad at all, but it will take some getting used to considering his commute today is 4 minutes.
One of the best parts about this promotion for me is that we get to stay right where we're at! The ones in the past have taken us from Boise to Salt Lake, and then to Bellingham, so we're very excited to stay here because we absolutely love living in Washington.
Anyway, I'm very proud of him & glad he is always motivated to work hard to get to that next step.
I Love You, Tom!

That's my Boy! I'm very proud of my son-in-law. He's a real good boy and a good worker. And, I don't mean in the "Pendejo" way either.
