My First Celebrity Encounter

How many of you know who this guy is?

If have have no idea, don't worry, before Saturday I didn't know him either.

We were all together at The Showbox hanging out before the last game of the year and in walked this guy. There was speculation from a few of the guys of who it was, but I had no clue. So my friend and I decided to verify for ourselves whether he was who the boys said, or whether he was some poor guy who was going to get harassed by a couple young females (see pic above for young females...ha!)

We were a little nervous at first so we walked by and went to the restroom instead, then decided it was time to approach.

I said, "Excuse me, what's your name?"

He said, "I'm Walt, maam, what's your name?"

There was the confirmation. We chatted for a little while, then asked if we could get a picture. Then my friend and I went back to our group and bragged a little about our celeb-encounter.

So...he is Walter Jones, former Seahawks offensive tackle! I looked him up on Wiki awhile ago and read this about him, of course this further validates his celebrity-ness.

"Jones was perhaps the best at his position in the NFL during the early part of the century."
