I finished a project a few months ago that was fun & challenging, not to mention the homeowners were a hoot to work with. Their house is in the shape of an octagon, and it is quite amazing inside. The ceilings have a very tall vault that meets in the center of the house where a drop down light box shines light over the whole house. I've never worked on a cabinet design with so many angles, it was extremely challenging to get the design right, and even more challenging getting my installer on board with the new idea of all these angles!

The end cabinets were custom built by our installer to fit into an odd angle in the bathroom wall....nothing had a 45 degree, so it was always a guess...

We modified the cabinet height so the top rail would line up exactly with the pantry wall.

There is a really cool corner cabinet that pulls out, it's called a "Magic Corner" and is a great solution for the old blind corner cabinets that most of us have in our homes.

It's amazing how dark their cabinets are already, when they first shipped they were really light with a pink tint, after only a few months they've become more red, and will continue to darken over time. I love cherry for that reason!!
