It's funny how wedding planning invites everyone's opinion, whether it's wanted or not.  There are few people's opinions that actually matter to me, the rest are usually followed with a bland response.  I never want to offend, but I have my style, I'm good with it, it hasn't changed in years, so there.  (Followed by me sticking my tongue out in true Annette fashion...yes I'm turning into my mother...hope Tom likes her!)

It's amazing how many people dislike the idea of different bridesmaid dresses.  Everyone asks with excitement, "What are the girls wearing?!"  Not like you ever know what they mean when you say, "Cotton sateen dresses, all different styles, in Clover."  What the hell is cotton sateen?  Clover, is that green like sage, or green like St Paddy's Day?  My favorite response is, "Different dresses?"  Yes, they are all different.  None of my bridesmaids have the same personality and none of them have the same body shape.  Why not different dresses?  I can't even count the negative responses on one hand anymore...it's so weird.  And it's always hidden by, "That's cute."  Cute is code word in wedding world for someone not agreeing with your choice of styles.  

So for proof that I'm not crazy or trashy (well I might be slightly trashy, but that's because I love sweat pants and flip flops, and I'm totally comfortable wearing them in public....don't hate.)
