Idaho Falls Trip

We spent the last week in Idaho Falls with my family.  Lots of relaxing, eating, laughing, gossiping, etc.  I'm not a photographer obviously, but here are a couple shots from the trip!

Ed, Remi, & Ellory walking on Tom's back.  They weigh nothing, so it feels good when they walk on him.  Shortly after this picture was taken Ellory lost balance and slid down right on his head.  She cried, we laughed, Tom took it like a man.  I have a great video of it, but it's sideways and I'm not techy enough to figure out how to switch it the opposite way.

Seriously Critter, you're sleeping in the middle of family gossip time?  Probably a good thing because we were more than likely talking about her and her boyfriend who we call Ricky Ricardo...he seems like a good guy even though he was too scared to meet the family (or she was too scared to bring him around!)

Mom, Julie, and Tom chillaxin' on Julie's 'new' comfortable couch!  This is totally what we do every time we are in IF...lounge around at Julie's house.  I love it!

They call it 'Go Fish', the rest of the world calls it Poker.  Either way, I call it, "I Win!" and why do I call it that?  Oh yeah, because I won both times we played.  Tom knocked my chips over when I won, he pretended it was for laughs, but really he was mad that I won over him.  He forgets we used to play "Go Fish" weekly pre-Tom!

We went on a triple date to Mongolian!  It's my favorite.  I haven't found good mongolian food since I moved from IF, so we have to go each time I visit home.  Mmmm...so good.  If you haven't had Mongolian food before listen up.  You place all your veggies, meat, sauces, and noodles in a bowl (you get to pick whatever you want!) and take it to the cooker guys.  They pour the contents onto the huge hot circly thing (shown above) and cook the food.  Then they slide the cooked food back into your bowl and you eat!  It's awesome.  Excuse the explanation above, I have no idea the exact terms for the men who cook your food or the 'thing' they cook it on.  I'm totally craving it now, goo!

It was also my dad's 39th birthday!  (39, ha ha)
We took him to a Mexican restaurant with all the kids and grandkids, minus Dave & Steph because they are in Colorado Springs!  It was fun.  Ellory was a total pill, screamed the entire time, but we love her anyway.  They sang Happy Birthday to him and made him wear an awesome hat.  There were a lot of "Ay Ay Ay's" coming from our table!

On a separate note.  You know when you do something that reminds you of your parents and you get a little embarrassed?  Well take a look at my dad in the sombrero picture.  Now scroll up and take a look at me with the poker chips.  Different days, different occasions, same creepy face and pose (keep in mind I don't get ready in IF, so pony tail and smeared make up is how I roll.)  Ugh....sorry Tom.
