Cancun Pictures

Here are a couple pictures from our Cancun vaca!

This picture doesn't do the stairs any justice. When we first got to the condo Heidi told us we got the upstairs bedroom...little did we know you had to practically climb up the stairs because they were so steep! Once we climbed the stairwell you could see we definitely had the better end of the deal! The view from upstairs was amazing and the sunrise every morning was beautiful.

Ah...the beach...I would go back tomorrow if I could...

Tom and I ventured out one afternoon and found The Worlds Smallest Hooters. Tom says, "In more ways than one." They weren't too impressive...but the food and cervesas were outstanding.

Tom has now been to the Worlds Largest Hooters (Spokane, WA) and The Worlds Smallest Hooters. Lets be honest...he has been to a lot more than just those two.

He was actually really good at this...the guy carried drinks on his head the entire time we were there! Yay to the Hurricane!

Us at a delic restaurant called La Tortuga in Playa Del Carmen.

Story time...

My mom lived in Mexico when she was in highschool for an exchange program. While living there she was swimming in the ocean in Playa Del Carmen when a dolphin came up next to her and brushed against her body. She freaked out thinking it was a shark and got out immediately.

We went to an aquarium where we got to touch a Nurse Shark and a Manta Ray. We also got to see a pretty big tortuga that was albino.

I thought this was hilarious. In the states the only free samples you get are food and it's usually at Costco or Sams Club, but in Mexico you get free samples of Tequila!!!
