You know that feeling you get, almost like a need, to (how do I put this best) "multiply and replenish the earth"? Some put it as "baby hungry."
Well I first have to say that I blame these feelings on Tom, but second, I can't get rid of them!
So before I met Tom the last thing on my mind was marriage and children. Then, I met Tom and my whole view of life changed. (sigh...how romantic, right?) He knocked down my brick wall that I had up against the world and brought out my sensitive side (which I hate).
Example: My tear ducts were broken for like two years. I never cried! Now, I cry ALL the time...movies, commercials, sweet things I see when I'm out and about, or just when I feel like it.
So we talk about the future a lot and our goals, one of them is having a family. We have gone into in depth detail of how we want to raise our children, names we like, when we want to have them...which is now, but it's not possible. Thank you birth control! Anyway, so I get this feeling every once in awhile that I want a baby SO bad. It doesn't help when Tom says things like, "Why don't you make me one of those?"
(Julie that is your fault! This sentence comes out of his mouth about 100 times when we are in Idaho Falls because he LOVES playing with ED.)
So this is what I've found helps me temporarily with my baby blues....

Yeah...why don't you make one of those? HAHA! I am sure whenever you do they will be as gorgeous as you are!! I am glad you have a dog to comfort those baby drives....try babysitting..that is a natural birth control! HAHAHA!
Call me and I'll change your mind with horribly graphic stories :)
Actually, truth is, despite how hard it is, kids are amazingly wonderful.
And... Holly is going to have some MAJOR jealousy issues someday... be forewarned.
Oh, Muff. You are going to make such a great mom that it's hard for me to encourage you to stick with your plan. In the meantime...snuggle that dog and remind Tom that Ed is potty training right now and I just got bamboozled into buying a $20 transformer just because he finally kept his #2 out of the undies.
Good for you Missy! Tom is an excellent boy. We love him. Now you two get your shiznit together.
