Our great Saturday morning!

It's true...our dogs are stuck together. I was downstairs one Saturday morning playing piano when I heard Holly yelping. I run upstairs to check on her. Right as I turn the corner I see Champ on the back end of Holly. So I run over and yell, "No, Champ!" and try to push him off. He was no longer on the back of Holly, but I caught them right in the middle of the deed and he was stuck inside her. So I run into the bedroom and scream, "Tom! Our dogs are stuck together!" (Later to find out the first thought that went through his head was, geez Marissa, just take off their collars...) So he gets up and walks slowly out the door. Keep in mind our dogs are being held together by a sex organ, Champ is faced opposite of Holly (that can't feel good) and they are both trying to walk different directions. Tom was on the floor trying to pull them apart...squirting Champ with water...more pulling. Finally I call the emergency vet...which is the most embarrassing phone call, "Hi, I caught my dogs doing it and now they are stuck together." So the vet explains to me that is normal...give them their alone time and they will eventually calm down and get themselves unstuck. It took 1-1/2 hours for the whole process to be over. The next day Holly walked around with her tail between her legs every time Champ was near her. Absolutely hilarious and horrifying at the same time!

cI don't know whether to laugh, or shudder, or laugh, or cringe... so I'm doing all, simultaneously, trying to NOT cough up my lungs from laughing so hard.
