FONTS--

Ok, it's not a real read-worthy blog post, but here I am still typing....

I found the best website!  I'm a sucker for cute fonts, but I can't stand the bleh "Comic Sans" or "Lucida" etc.  There are a couple websites I've used in the past who offer different styles of font, but they all bore me.  (Yes, I'm the weirdo who judges people when they use a dumb font.  In fact, there was an article about it the other day because someone used Comic Sans and it was ALL over the news.  Did you know there is actually a website called http://bancomicsans.com/main/ to which I crack up!)

Back to my font find...which most people will find completely immature once they see the font style...

These people: http://www.kevinandamanda.com/fonts/ (whoever they are) take submitted handwriting samples and turn them into fonts!  They are all pretty similar, but I've been having a hay day with them!  I got my download on, which is SO easy BTW, and now I'm using them on my cabinet designs! Of course I'd never print it on an actual quote, but they're so much fun on the design layout because it looks like my handwriting, and to be honest, I only need simple pleasures to keep me entertained and happy at work.  One being the bag of chips ahoy in my desk drawer that's always taunting me.  Two now being handwriting fonts!

Now I'm getting ready to take my calligraphy class after work...as if I wasn't busy enough over the next couple weeks!
