Proof that we are procrastinators...

We decided about a week ago to try taking advantage of the first time home buyers tax credit....which ends on Friday.  Our poor Realtor!

Most of you know this, but here's my repetitive update anyway.

We liked a house, it was a "fixer-upper" and we were a day late and a dollar short.  Well not a dollar short, in fact probably a dollar or two (thousand) more, but still literally about 1 day late.  I would say it's not meant to be, but in all reality we totally waited too long to pull the trigger.

So, we met with a Realtor who is also in my networking group.  (They're getting their moneys worth, however I'm spending way more than what I'm getting in return!  One day someone will want to buy cabinets, right?)  His name is Paul and he's awesome to work with, because that's his job, but he's still awesome.  I like to pretend he's doing all this footwork because he likes us and wants to help, it eases the pain of thinking how much money he makes when the deal is all said and done.  He spent the weekend with us looking at tons of houses.  We have narrowed it down to three that we LOVE.  They all have their own great qualities and the decision making is tough!  We only have until Friday to get a deal signed to be able to use the tax credit....we are running out again tonight to take a look at them one more time and decide which one to make an offer on.
