While the cats away the mice will play...

Champ is sure that expression applies to him. He has been OUT OF CONTROL since Tom left. Sunday he was sad and whined all night with his head on his paw right in front of the fire place. Monday night he was getting into EVERYTHING. He would run laps around the room and use the ottoman as his ramp. It's so hard to tell him no because it's hilarious, but he isn't supposed to get on the furniture. Really, it's an internal battle for me because I'm hiding my laughter and also debating whether I should say "no" or just let him do it again.

(The look on his face is great...it's the "oh shi" look because he knows he is not supposed to be on the couch! I looked outside and there was a cat roaming around in the trees, how he spotted it I have no clue.)

So our dog sitter came over today to go over the details of my trip. Champ tried HUMPING her! This is totally new...he did it once the other day, but I wasn't quite sure if it was a hump or just weird jumping. (Sorry Michael!) So I'm freaking out and completely embarrassed. Champ is like the obnoxious kid in school that no one can stand, but he thinks everyone loves him so he just keeps on doing things and coming back for more attention. You all know which kid I'm talking about! Anyway, he is just out of control this week.

(Previous owners had a cat along with a cat door going into the garage. Champs head is barely small enough to fit through the hole. It's hilarious. One day he is going to get stuck.)

On another note...

I'm SO happy about last weeks Office episode. There were a few episodes that were so boring, nothing happened with Holly who I loved for Michael, there hadn't been any drama, etc. Well the last few weeks have been great, but last weeks episode was icing on the cake for me. Loved it. Watched it more than I want to admit. Can't wait for Thursday (well Friday when I can watch it online since I don't have TV!)

Work update...

Used to love my job. Still love what I do. Hate my retarded boss. My last paycheck didn't go through, he told me two weeks later and then gave me $100 + a cashiers check to cover the amount of the bounced check. On the bright side he has been overly nice to me probably because he was embarrassed. I got paid again the same day he gave me the bad news and I said, "Is it ok if I deposit this one today?" Luckily it hasn't bounced...yet...
