We just got back from a fun night with my dad. He drove all the way from IF to SLC to see Foreigner with Tom and me. We went to dinner at PF Changs which was delicious as always, showed my dad how to eat a lettuce wrap, and saw a show!
The concert was at a place downtown called The Depot. I warned my dad to wear old clothes and maybe bring a change with him so he wouldn't have to drive home smelling like smoke. When we walked in Tom noticed it was a non smoking venue which was awesome. The place is actually really neat, has a nice open floor and seating on the perimeter.
We were on the floor with a lot of crazies. You always have to expect there are going to be some absolutely annoying people, but if you ignore them and listen to the music it's totally worth it. (I say that because we had a group of girls/guys in front of us who were more interested in humping each other and pushing people around and paying more attention to their texting than to the concert. One of the girls was huge and her shelf butt kept hitting me, so I moved and it kept hitting my dad after that. Poor guy!! He said, "she has more ass than dooleys donkey farm!" which was true.)
Anyway, it was a lot of fun and we were really glad my dad came down to spend some time with us. Love ya dad!!

SHEESH!! You crazy blogger! I have missed a few posts! I can't believe you get to go to ACDC....and I love that you say SHELF BUTT because I TOTALLY say that too- and I thought I made it up! Anyhoo, I also like the 'butt that never stands up'.
