Alright, so it happened to me too! Twilight was one of the gifts Tom bought me for Valentines Day. Now, I love reading, but it's finding the time and energy to actually sit down to read that causes me to keep it on my bedside for months at a time.
So I finally started reading the book, and in no time, I was hooked. I couldn't wait to go to bed every night just so I could find out what was going to happen with Edward and Bella. Was he not going to resist? Would he bite her? Would she become a vampire? Was he ever going to kiss her? There were parts where I laughed out loud (embarrassed, yes) and where I almost cried. It was so romantic, and I'm a sucker for that. I was sad when the book was over. So Tom took me to Barnes & Noble last night and we bought the next book in the series. I tried the whole, "oh it's ok, I think Julie has some copies, I can just get them from her next time we are in IF." Then we passed where the book was, and it magically jumped into my hand and I couldn't let go of it! Seriously. :)
What!!! A movie is coming out too!!!! I'm so excited, you have no idea. Although the charaters aren't quite what I had imagined, it's pretty close. Edward should definitely be better looking, he was described in the first book as a "greek god" and he is just so so in the movie. I can't wait to see the movie!

Um... yeah... don't get too discouraged in New Moon... Eclipse redeems it... and then there are only what... 3 1/2 months until Breaking Dawn. Yeah, I read the books in one sitting -each... in like 19 1/2 hours. Pathetic.
